Have you ever played a game where you build a tower until it falls over? If you have, you have learned that when you build a tower , the stronger the bottom or FOUNDATION, the higher you can build. It's like learning the 7 Habits; first, you need to build your foundation.
9-6-13 Today we had our first Community of Leaders assembly where Mrs. McMahon cut the ribbon to officially start the Leader in Me program. We will begin September with 3 goals:
1. To reduce the noise in the halls by walking silently and in a straight line.
2. Improve assemblies by using the Firecracker clap and entering and
departing in a more organized manner.
3. Increase attendance.
Students from our team along with many others participated in the assembly by assisting with leading the Pledge of Allegiance (Abbey), ribbon cutting (Dominic T & Sophia), mixing the 7 Habits Snack Mix (Ashton, Aundreya), holding 7 Habits posters (Collin), and performing a 7 habits song/dance (Darby & Claire).
